About IRCMS 2025
UNISTEM (formerly known as the Human Resource Management Institute) is a leading institute in Sri Lanka dedicated to advancing education and training in the fields of Business and Vocational Studies. In line with its commitment to fostering research and innovation, UNISTEM is organizing its third international research conference. Here is a title for the 2025 3rd International Research Conference on Management Studies hosted by the Research Cell of UNISTEM.

Objectives:
- To provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to present and exchange their latest research findings, ideas, and innovations.
- To encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration that addresses emerging challenges and opportunities in business and management practices.
- To foster knowledge sharing between academia and industry, bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical applications.
- To promote a culture of research excellence by inspiring young researchers to engage in scholarly inquiry and contribute to the advancement of management studies.
Target Presenters and Participants:
The conference is open to scholars, researchers, students and practitioners in different fields such as business management, accounting & finance, HRM, tourism, Psychology etc. Participants may be from academia and industry.

Keynote Speaker

Prof. Bandara Wanninayake
Prof. Bandara Wanninayake is Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Kelaniya University.. He graduated from the University of Sri Jayawardanepura and holds a PhD from Tomas Bata University Czech Republic, and MBA from the University of Colombo, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (CIM). He also received a gold medal for his outstanding achievement in the MBA program.
Currently, he is lecturing strategic marketing management, sales management, consumer behavior, and research methodology, as well as serving as a visiting faculty member for other local and foreign degree programs. In addition, he has over 40 research papers published in prominent international research journals and proceedings of international research conferences. He has chaired, co-chaired, and chaired sessions at a number of local and international conferences, and he has presented papers at over 15 international conferences. He also serves on the editorial boards of a number of academic journals in Sri Lanka. Consumer behavior, brand management, advertising, and service marketing are his key research interests.
He began his academic career as a lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management at the University of Kelaniya in 2003, and he served the university in various positions at that time. During the years 2009 and 2010, he served as the senior student counsellor of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies in a leadership role.

The conference registration fee must be paid by all conference presenters. Each paper requires at least one author to attend and pay the registration fee. Delegates can attend the Conference by selecting one of the options listed below.

Call for Abstract Submission
We are extending an invitation and providing encouragement to potential authors to submit their valuable research findings. We welcome original and previously published results from various types of work, including conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical, as long as they align with the conference’s theme and tracks.

Submission of Research Papers & Posters
Please submit your extended abstract or digital copy of your poster to ircms@unistem.lk
Please mention the topic of your research in the subject line
Every submitted paper or poster will undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by a minimum of two reviewers.
For accepted papers or posters, it’s mandatory that they are presented at the conference by one of the authors. Furthermore, each accepted paper or poster must have at least one author who is officially registered for the conference. All registered papers will be featured in the IRCMS 2025 proceedings, which will be published by the UNISTEM.
